BTA follows American Tamil Academy's syllabus and testing materials which provides a range of 10 different grade levels for children aged 4 and up. Our programs include Mun Mazhalai (முன்மழலை) for ages 4 and older, Mazhalai (மழலை) for ages 5 and older, and Levels (நிலை) 1 through 8. For additional information, visit our Academics page. 

Our Mobile Library circulate a diverse collection of Tamil books for kids and adults. Our curated selection promotes the learning of the Tamil language while celebrating Tamil culture and heritage. Featuring original works and translations, We also invite parents to contribute by donating books & volunteering as librarians

Every January we come together to celebrate Tamil heritage with the vibrant Pongal Vizha! Deliciousness of Vazhai Ilai Virunthu by parents competes with  colorful performances of our kids wint our hearts.  This special day is filled with rich traditions and joyful celebrations.

Our teachers conduct three tests throughout the school year to evaluate student learning and adjust their coaching accordingly. While we utilize question papers provided by ATA, our educators often customize these materials to better suit their specific classes.

BTA hosts Barathiyar Day each year on the birthday of the famous tamil poet. This lively event allows children to learn about Bharathiyar through engaging games and  activities. From storytelling to fun quizzes, kids celebrate his contributions while fostering a love for Tamil culture. It's a joyful day filled with laughter learning.

Our school year begins in mid-September, & ends in June in line with WA schools. Both new and continuing students can seek admission by submitting a request through the registration link. We open registration in March and through the summer, so make sure to visit our registration for all the necessary details and links.

Our graduates play a vital role in advancing BTA's mission by volunteering in YC. They engage in teaching Tamil classes, creating content for school events, and coordinating initiatives, all while fostering their own development as leaders and mentors, enriching their personal and professional growth. 

Our students and teachers participate in national-level literary competitions organized by ATA each year. Our teachers achieved remarkable success, winning first place in poetry for three consecutive years. This year, one of our students secured second place in elocution.

We publish a yearbook annually which captures the memorable moments, class photos, and highlights of the school year. It also provides a platform for our talented young writers and artists to showcase their creativity through stories, poems, and stunning artwork.

At the end of the year, we come together to reflect on our achievements, express our gratitude to our invaluable teachers, and to our dedicated volunteers. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their unwavering confidence in us. We present our finances.

Thirukural Day at BTA is an event held every year where students compete in a Thirukural competition, as well as getting to appreciate Tamil literature. While they compete they learn the importance of Thirukurals and messages they tell. It's a great way to celebrate Tamil culture and the many lessons it teaches.
